Report On Bundeena

Bundeena is a beautiful place which is situated in the Royal National Park south of Sydney. To get to Bundeena, you have to travel by ferry from Cronulla or by car through the Royal national Park. The area is well known as an important Aboriginal site.

This Aboriginal site reminds us about the history of Australia. In this area there is a beautiful beach named "Jibbon Beach". This beach and adjacent creeks and woodlands once provided our ancestors with all their needs for a happy and healthy existence.

The people who lived there were called "The Dharawal People". Most of the people were six fingered. They were physicaly strong. Their favourite food was Fish and animal meat got from hunting kangaroos. Kangaroo's bones have been found here. This shows they were hunters.They depended only on fish and the meat of animals for food.

In conclusion, Bundeena is a very beautiful and historic place which reminds us of the history of Bundeena. This engraving site is only one of about eighty different Aboriginal sites in Australia. The engravings could be from 200 to about 5,000 years old.

About me

ABOUT ME
My name is Zahida, I come from Pakistan. I came here (Australia) in November 2005. Now I live in Rockdale with my family. I like Australia. I enjoy living here but sometimes I miss my country because my brother, his family, my uncle, aunts, friends, in laws and other close relatives are there.Now I have to face some problems eg language problems, listening and under standing.Now I am studying English at st George TAFE to improved my English.After 1st semester my English is improve a little bit but not totally, now I am in 2nd semester,at the end this semester I will improve more and be able to understand English speaking people.
